La destrucción de patrimonio histórico-artístico está deviniendo una constante durante los conflictos armados, y los casos de Palmira y Sana'a son paradigmáticos de estas dinámicas. ¿Ha habido diferencias entre la problematización internacional de ambos? Teniendo en cuenta variables como el espacio que ocupan ambos estados en la estructura de poder internacional, los diferentes actores involucrados, la concepción identitaria del patrimonio y el factor estado islámico, esta investigación estudia su visibilización internacional mediante un análisis basado en las reacciones internacionales con el objetivo de final de calibrar el ecosistema generado alrededor de cada caso de estudio.
The destruction of historical-artistic heritage is becoming a constant during armed conflicts, and the cases of Palmira and Sana'a are paradigmatic of these dynamics. Have there been differences between the international problematization of both of them? Taking into account variables such as the space that both states occupy in the international power structure, the different actors involved, the conception of heritage and the Islamic state factor, this research studies its international visibility through an analysis based on international reactions with the final objective of calibrating the ecosystem generated around each case study.
