The purpose of this assignment is to investigate if the perception of the magical world created by J. K Rowling in Harry Potter is the same for the original English reader and the Spanish one. To do so, all the terminology created by the author has been classified in semantic groups, and their translations into Spanish have been analysed taking into account theoretical aspects, such as the method and the techniques of the translation process.
