En aquest treball estudiem la fauna útil existent al Zoo de Barcelona i la presència d'aquesta als vegetals del jardí. En primer lloc s'ha realitzat una cerca bibliogràfica per aconseguir informació general sobre les patologies que tenen més incidència a Barcelona, els tractaments que s'utilitzen més sovint en aquesta ciutat per controlar-les i a la possibilitat d'utilitzar el control biològic mitjançant els enemics naturals de les plagues (fauna útil).
