The REAC-TAVI (Assessment of platelet REACtivity after Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) trial enrolled patients with aortic stenosis (AS) undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) pre-treated with aspirin + clopidogrel, aimed to compare the efficacy of clopidogrel and ticagrelor in suppressing high platelet reactivity (HPR) after TAVI.

[...] The multi-dimensional nature of sociocultural vulnerability, along with the sectoral nature of most academic studies carried out so far makes a truly comprehensive ethnographic approach to vulnerable parenting contexts seriously difficult, largely due to the lack of a precise analytical definition which may allow to articulate the various types and levels of vulnerability that converge in that area. Horizontal inequality in the transition to upper secondary education in Spain
/
Valdés, Manuel T. (Universidad Complutense de Madrid)
Effectively maintained inequality theory posits that a reduction in vertical inequality following the expansion of a level of education will be compensated by an increase in horizontal inequality. Although this theory has been intensely studied in various countries, it has barely been explored in the Spanish case. [...]
/
Valdés Gázquez, María (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament d'Antropologia Social i Cultural)
[...] This work is based on a conviction and a finding: on the one hand, the conviction that the ignorance of the classics of a discipline, especially those in the field of the so-called social sciences, constitutes an obstacle to the exercise of that discipline; on the other, the evidence that the systematic study, in the philological-philosophical way, of the classics of anthropology has not yet passed a very early stage.
