O objetivo do trabalho foi analisar as ações do governo na forma de políticas ambientais de combate ao desmatamento entre as gestões federais de Luis Inácio Lula da Silva até o governo de Michel Temer a partir de um levantamento histórico do cenário do desmatamento por um período de 15 anos de execução de planos importantes como o Plano de Ação para a Prevenção e Controle do Desmatamento na Amazônia Legal (PPCDAm) no âmbito federal e o Plano de Prevenção, Controle e Alternativas ao Desmatamento (PPCAD) no ambiento estadual (Estado do Pará). The objective of this work was to analyze government actions in the form of environmental policies to combat deforestation between the federal administrations of Luis Inácio Lula da Silva and Michel Temer, based on a historical survey of the deforestation scenario for a period of 15 years of execution of important plans such as the Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Deforestation in the Legal Amazon (PPCDAm) in the federal scope and the Plan for Prevention, Control and Alternatives to Deforestation (PPCAD) in the state environment (State of Pará).
