Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté. Institut UTINAM) ; Villa, Rosa (Institut de Microelectrònica de Barcelona) ; Guirado López, Gonzalo (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament de Química) ; Lakard, Boris (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté. Institut UTINAM) ; Hihn, Jean Yves (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique. Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté. Institut UTINAM) ; del Campo, F. Javier (Institut de Microelectrònica de Barcelona)
Prussian Blue (PB)-modified graphite screen-printed electrodes are increasingly being used in electrochemical biosensors. However, they do not allow the observation of the electrochromism of PB. This work presents the construction of PB-based, electrochromic screen-printed biosensors. [...]

22 p, 2.1 MB Screen-printable electrochromic polymer inks and ion gel electrolytes for the design of low-power, flexible electrochromic devices / Santiago, Sara (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament de Química) ; Aller Pellitero, Miguel (Institut de Microelectrònica de Barcelona) ; del Campo, F. Javier (Institut de Microelectrònica de Barcelona) ; Guirado López, Gonzalo (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Departament de Química)
We have developed electrochromic inks and electrolyte materials to enable mass production of flexible electrochromic displays (ECDs) and other optoelectronic devices by screen printing. Here we present a new screen-printable ink incorporating electrochromic polymer, poly(3,4-propylenedioxythiophene)bis(ethylhexyloxy), referred to here as ECP-Magenta, and antimony-doped tin oxide (ATO/TiO) particles to facilitate electron transport. 25 p, 6.0 MB A self-powered skin-patch electrochromic biosensor / Santiago, Sara (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) ; Río-Colín, Diego (Universidad del País Vasco) ; Azizkhani, Haniyeh (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) ; Aller Pellitero, Miguel (Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine) ; Guirado López, Gonzalo (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) ; del Campo, F. Javier (Institut de Microelectrònica de Barcelona)
One of the limitations of many skin-patch wearable sensors today is their dependence on silicon-based electronics, increasing their complexity and unit cost. Self-powered sensors, in combination with electrochromic materials, allow simplifying the construction of these devices, leading to powerful analytical tools that remove the need for external detection systems.
