En aquest treball hem caracteritzat els mecanismes neuromusculars i neurosecretors i la funció barrera del còlon distal del porc. A més a més, hem valorat aquests mecanismes en dos models animals representatius del cicle productiu porcí, un model d'infecció experimental per l'Escherichia coli enterotoxigènic (ETEC) i un model de socialització primerenca i d'enriquiment ambiental durant la lactació. En el presente trabajo hemos caracterizado los mecanismos neuromusculares y neurosecretores y la función barrera en el colon del cerdo. Además, hemos valorado estos mecanismos en dos modelos animales representativos del ciclo productivo porcino, un modelo de infección experimental por Escherichia coli enterotoxigénico (ETEC) y un modelo de socialización temprana y de enriquecimiento ambiental durante la lactación. In this work, we have characterized the neuromuscular and neurosecretory mechanisms and the barrier function of the pig colon in two animal models representative of the productive porcine cycle, namely, an experimental model of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) infection and a model of early socialization and environmental enrichment during lactation.
