La autora propone analizar el semanario de sucesos El Caso como una crónica de los procesos de movilidad social vividos por muchas mujeres y hombres en los años cincuenta a setenta. Mientras las informaciones, los personajes que las protagonizan y las acciones que realizan, remiten a cambios en las condiciones sociales de los grupos de población más pobres, y a los modelos de comportamiento que se identifican con las posibilidades de integración o de marginación social, la publicidad habla de sus aspiraciones y expectativas, así como de las recetas para modificar esas condiciones de vida.
The author intends to analyze the weekly magazine of events El Caso as a chronicle of the social mobility processes, lived by many women and men during the fifties to the seventies. While the informations, the characters which take part in them, and the actions performed by them show changes in the social conditions of the poorest population groups and in the behavioural models that identify with the possibilities of social integration or marginalization, advertising displays its aspirations and expectations, as well as the recipes to modify those living conditions.
