Los depósitos holocenos, de la llanura litoral del Golfo de Roses, se interpretan como un modelo de sedimentación deltaica con dominio de la acción del oleaje sobre los aportes fluviales, dando lugar a una progradación de cordones litorales (beach ridges) que encierran zonas de lagoon y de marisma.
The Gulf of Roses coastal plain deposits (Holocene) are here interpreted as the result of sedimentation in a wave dominated deltaic environment in which beach ridges progradation took place bounding lagoon and marsh areas.
