/
Marqués-Perales, Ildefonso (Unversidad de Sevilla. Departamento de Sociología) ;
[...] Our research addresses the role of education in social mobility. To do so, we employ a classical mediation and decomposition analysis. Starting from the analysis of the Origin - Education - Destination (OED) social mobility triangle, we decompose the total effect of the origin-destination relationship through the sum of the direct (OD) and indirect (O-E-D) effects. [...] In 1913 the name and the works of Rabindranāth Tagore began to circulate among several European literatures. In Catalonia many of these first references came through French and Spanish literature.
/
Rodríguez Torres, Mario René (Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-americana (UNILA)) ;
Checchia, Cristiane (Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-americana (UNILA))
[...] Through this work we reflect on the results that might be found from the approach of three institutions, which are in principle very distant from each other: the university, the prison and the literature.
The society-nature articulation I propose to be understood as dialectical mediation. Social mediation is the existing form of articulation between the physical-biological worlds and the human world (which dialectically includes the first). [...]
