Although the debate and the critic are not new, it is indeed the virulence with which the parties are blamed of a big part of the problems of the democratic system if not of all of them, particularly of being an obstacle to the democratic development, or even a tool for its degeneration. ¿Cómo suturar la tensión política en torno al binomio unidad-pluralidad? : formulaciones en el lenguaje liberal español de comienzos del siglo XIX

El tránsito del Antiguo Régimen a un sistema liberal constituyó en España un largo y complejo proceso que se prolongó durante buena parte del siglo XIX. Entre los diferentes aspectos que lo caracterizan se encuentra la transformación del lenguaje político y, concretamente, las formas utilizadas para expresar las nuevas formas de concebir tanto la unidad de la comunidad política como un pluralismo de nuevo cuño que tenía su trasunto en el despliegue de los intereses particulares en la esfera económica y de los partidos en el sistema político. El trànsit de l'Antic Règim a un sistema liberal va constituir a Espanya un llarg i complex procés que es va perllongar durant bona part del segle XIX. Entre els diferents aspectes que el caracteritzen es troba la transformació del llenguatge polític i, concretament, les formes utilitzades per expressar les noves maneres de concebre tant la unitat de la comunitat política com un pluralisme de nou encuny que tenia el seu trassumpte al desplegament dels interessos particulars en l'esfera econòmica i dels partits al sistema polític. The transition from the Ancien Régime to a liberal system in Spain was a long and complex process that lasted the best part of the 19th century. Among the different aspects that characterised it, the transformation of political language played a key role, particularly ways of expressing the new conceptions of both the unity of the political community and the new kind of pluralism embodied in the deployment of particular interests in the economic sphere and certain parties in the political system.
