Los verbos preposicionales o verbos que rigen preposición y la gramática de construcciones

Los verbos preposicionales (y otros lexemas preposicionales) han sido poco tratados en las gramáticas y en los diccionarios de uso del español, así como en los manuales de enseñanza de ELE. Reconocer su importancia implica replantearse la propia naturaleza lingüística de la preposición y sus múltiples y diferentes empleos.
El presente trabajo se enmarca en dos enfoques de la lingüística actual: el cognitivo-prototípico (Lakoff, 1987; Langacker, 1987, 1991; Geeraerts, 2006; Geeraerts y Cuyckens, 2007, entre otros) y el de la gramática de construcciones (Goldberg, 1995, 2003, 2006). [...]

This paper explores the idea that the properties of adpositional systems can suffice to explain the Talmian distinction between satellite and verb framed languages. Following the insight that morphological simple prepositions in Romance languages are only locative, I propose that the functional domain of the directional/path preposition is defective and, hence, has to be licensed via incorporation to the (motion) verb.
