Los relatos "Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius", "Las ruinas circulares" y "La lotería en Babilonia" de Jorge Luis Borges se ponen en contacto con la trilogía The Matrix, dirigida por las hermanas Wachowski, y se analizan de acuerdo con la filosofía de Arthur Schopenhauer en su obra El mundo como voluntad y representación con el objetivo de justificar que la realidad fáctica es más accesible a partir de la ficción, ya que la existencia humana se basa principalmente en la propia interpretación del mundo ligada a una voluntad de supervivencia que no se puede captar más que a través de la discursividad que proporciona el lenguaje, el cual supondrá una ilusión en sí mismo en tanto que es un medio de representación y, por lo tanto, no puede ofrecer verdades absolutas.
"Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius", "Las ruinas circulares" y "La lotería en Babilonia" de Jorges Luis Borges es posen en contacte amb la trilogía The Matrix, dirigida per les germanes Wachowski, i s'analitzen segons la filosofia d'Arthur Schopenhauer a la seva obra El mundo como voluntad y representación amb l'objectiu de justificar que la realitat fàctica és més accessible des de la ficció, ja que l'existència humana es basa principalment en la pròpia interpretació del món lligada a una voluntat de supervivència que no es pot captar més que a través de la discursivitat que proporciona el llenguatge, el qual serà una il·lusió en si mateix perquè és un medi de representació i, per tant, no pot oferir veritats absolutes.
