/
Lozano Cutanda, Blanca (CUNEF Universidad)
In this study that I dedicate to Manuel Ballbé Mallol, whose wornderful friend-ship remains indelible in my memory, I carry out a summary expositicon of the conclusions of the IPCC scientists and of the main legal measures that are being adopted to fight climate change at the international and European level.

The burning of fossil fuels is an unsustainable activity, which is leading to an increase in greenhouse gases (GHGs) emissions and related global warming. Among sustainable energy sources, microalgae represent a promising alternative to fossil fuel and contribute to the achievement of important Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). [...]

Abandoning fossil fuels and increasingly relying on low-density, land-intensive renewable energy will increase demand for land, affecting current global and regional rural-urban relationships. Over the past two decades, rural-urban relationships all over the world have witnessed unprecedented changes that have rendered their boundaries blurred and have lead to the emergence of "new ruralities. A new gel polymer electrolyte (GPE) based supercapacitor with an ionic conductivity up to 0. 32-0. 94 mS cm has been synthesized from a mixture of an ionic liquid (IL) with nanocellulose (NC). The new NC-ionogel was prepared by combining the IL 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium dimethyl phosphate (EMIMP) with carboxymethylated cellulose nanofibers (CNFc) at different ratios (CNFc ratio from 1 to 4).
