Este artículo examina aspectos del discurso de Jair Bolsonaro en la última elección presidencial de Brasil, ocurrida en octubre de 2018. Con base en la teoría del Análisis del discurso, en contribuciones de la retórica y de estudios prosódicos, este análisis de las formas y recursos lingüísticos, retóricos y discursivos de sus declaraciones públicas procura demostrar que uno de los rasgos sobresalientes del desempeño oratorio del entonces candidato fue la producción de los siguientes efectos de sentido: franqueza, interacción, vehemencia y antagonismo. The article examines some aspects of Jair Bolsonaro's public speech produced in the last presidential election in Brazil, occured in October 2018. Based on discourse analysis and contributions from rhetoric and prosodic studies, this work of the linguistic, rhetorical and discursive forms and resources of his public speech tries to demonstrate that one of the outstanding features of the oratorical performance of the candidate was the production of the following sense ehemence and antagonism. Cuando ya pocos lo usan, el sombrero se ha convertido en un verdadero signo cero. Significa por su propia inexistencia, un molde, como un lugar vacío. Además, el autor abordará tres aspectos de este significado "en vacío": retórica y fisiognómica; carnavales y saturnales; ética y etiqueta.
Today, when few already use it, the hat has become a true zero sign. It means by its own absence, a mold, like an empty place. In addition, the author will address three aspects of this meaning "in a vacuum": rhetoric and physiognomic; carnivals and saturnals; ethics and etiquette.

Vocabulary, Story and Ideology in the Rhetoric of Persuasive Speech

Taking the theories of classical rhetoric as a starting point, we deal with inventio, dispositio, elocutio, memory and actio, common in every communicative act, and we will focus on two essential elements of persuasive rhetoric: one that is related to elocutio, that is, the selected vocabulary that determines the intention that the source has at the time of making the speech, and the other related to the inventio, that is, the type of discourse selected: the story or the narration as a format in which the discourse is framed to reach the recipient with the least amount of effort, and the greatest possible effectiveness. Partimos de las teorías de la retórica clásica, para hablar de la inventio, la dispositio, la elocutio, la memoria y la actio, comunes en todo acto comunicativo, centrándonos en dos de elementos esenciales de la retórica persuasiva: uno que está relacionado con la elocutio, es decir, el vocabulario seleccionado que determina la intención que posee el emisor a la hora de realizarel discurso, y el otro relacionado con la inventio, esto es, el tipo de discurso seleccionado: la historia o la narración como formato en el que el discurso se enmarca para llegar al receptor con la menor cantidad de esfuerzo y la mayor efectividad posible.
