Introduction: This double-blind, parallel-group, active-controlled phase III trial (NCT02260804) assessed CT-P10 and rituximab safety and efficacy in patients with previously untreated low-tumor-burden follicular lymphoma (LTBFL), including after a single switch from rituximab to CT-P10. [...]

What takes decades, centuries or millennia to happen with a natural ecosystem, it takes only days, weeks or months with a replicating viral quasispecies in a host, especially when under treatment. Some methods to quantify the evolution of a quasispecies are introduced and discussed, along with simple simulated examples to help in the interpretation and understanding of the results. [...]

Storia di un sodalizio : sull'amicizia tra Leonardo Sciascia ed Antonio Castelli
/
Saja, Giuseppe (Ricercatore indipendente)
[...] L'anàlisi de l'amistat entre Leonardo Sciascia i Antonio Castelli (1923-1988) ens permet no només il·luminar una col·laboració feta de discreció, sensibilitat i virtuts intel·lectuals, sinó també materialitzar un altre aspecte de la polifacètica activitat cultural de l'escriptor de Racalmuto: que de talent: explorador i admirador d'autors passats o contemporanis. [...] Retracing the friendship between Leonardo Sciascia and Antonio Castelli (1923-1988) leads us not only to illuminate a fellowship made up of discretion, sensitivity and intellectual virtues; but it also allows us to substantiate another aspect of the multifaceted cultural activity of the writer: that of the discoverer and admirer of authors from the past or contemporary to him. Gene fusion occurs when two or more individual genes with independent open reading frames becoming juxtaposed under the same open reading frame creating a new fused gene. A small number of gene fusions described in detail have been associated with novel functions, for example, the hominid-specific PIPSL gene, TNFSF12, and the TWE-PRIL gene family. [...]

[...] A teacher's knowledge is considered a significant factor contributing to their classroom performance and the promotion of mathematics learning in their students. This paper examines the knowledge deployed by a secondary teacher when working on the topic of similarity of triangles, focusing on the connections between subdomains within Pedagogical Content Knowledge in the model Mathematics Teachers' Specialized Knowledge.
