UU. , creando no pocas tensiones. Heading to the north and blocking the south - these contradictory and conflicting movements converge at the border between Mexico and the United States. The contribution analizes the filmic realization of means and routes of transport in the contexts of the narrativization of the border crossing and its connection to the common discourses circulating about migration with the objective of outlining an aesthetic of traffic in the contemporary Mexican cinema.

In this study, we developed a robust automatic computer vision system for marbling meat segmentation. Our approach can segment muscle fat in various marbled meat samples using images acquired with different quality devices in an uncontrolled environment, where there was external ambient light and artificial light; thus, professionals can apply this method without specialized knowledge in terms of sample treatments or equipment, as well as without disruption to normal procedures, thereby obtaining a robust solution. Eating disorders (EDs) are prevalent in sports. Although a distinction has been made to date between high- and low-risk sports for EDs, recent studies have indicated that footballers and other athletes in low-risk sports are as vulnerable for Eds as athletes from sports that emphasize weight and body appearance. [...] Sequencing of target-enriched libraries is an efficient and cost-effective method for obtaining DNA sequence data from hundreds of nuclear loci for phylogeny reconstruction. Much of the cost of developing targeted sequencing approaches is associated with the generation of preliminary data needed for the identification of orthologous loci for probe design. [...]
