Bartrina, this article studies his works or projects on Cervantes, especially his contribution to the inventory of the presence of Don Quixote in theatre, and the references to this novel in his literary production (a poetical epistle imitating the poem of Urganda la Desconocida to Don Quixote, three thoughts in verse or prose, and a narrative interchanging the social stereotypes between Don Quixote and Sancho, developed by Josep Miró i Folguera). Se aportan artículos de Pompeu Gener que ayudan a determinar la génesis de diversos libros suyos -sobre todo de Literaturas malsanas (1894)- o los complementan. Gener, que había criticado ya el naturalismo zoliano en publicaciones francesas e hispánicas, emprendió una campaña en contra en Madrid y Barcelona a partir de 1887, que intensificó después de las reacciones que suscitó La terre y con el auge de diversas tendencias finiseculares (particularmente el psicologismo, que le llevó a revalorar a Stendhal y algunos aspectos de Paul Bourget), si bien, más distantes de sus planteamientos, también las desaprobó. This study presents articles of Pompeu Gener that help to determine the genesis of several books of his -above all Literaturas malsanas (1894)- or complement them. Gener, that had already criticized Zola's naturalism in French and Hispanic publications, began a campaign in Madrid and Barcelona against it from 1887, which was intensified after the reactions that La terre aroused and with the rise of several end of century's tendencies (in special, psychologism, which led him to revalue Stendhal and some aspects of Paul Bourget), although he disapproved also of them, more distant from their principles. Through the works of Auguste Comte, François Arago and Camille Flammarion, among others, this paper analyses the role of popular astronomy along the nineteenth century. The popularisation of celestial bodies served different aims: the spread of positivism; the construction of a common place between expert and lay knowledge; it was a tool for the democratisation of knowledge; an intersection between science and literature; a stimulus of new scientific careers; a useful knowledge for amateur scientists; a public space for controversies and rivalries, in which the scientific authority of observations, theories and opinions was often under question; it was a strategy to reinforce religious faith, but also a rational tool in favour of the secularisation; a weapon in the service of anticlericalism; and very often, a social balsam.

With this, the paper takes for granted Dworkin's suggestion in the sense that reflexive equilibrium enables the going beyond of legal positivism, and the understanding of the philosophy of law as an interpretative work.
