In this communication, we show preliminary results on transmissive TiO wire-grid polarizers (WGP) operating in the deep ultraviolet (DUV) range. WGP are devices based on strips of materials with large values of the modulus of the dielectric constant along with high absorption in the operational range. [...]

NIL patterns frequently suffer from the presence of defects such as missing lines or dots which degrade their properties and functionality. Due to their low density and nanosize, the measurement of their fraction is challenging nanometrology trade-off between resolution and measurement range. [...]

In this paper, we propose a description of the Rashba-Dresselhaus effect in Hybrid Organic Perovskite (HOP). We show how the loss of the inversion symmetry leads to the loss of the spin degeneracy. An example of structure where both Rashba and Dresselhaus operate is illustrated with the formamidinium tin iodide CH(NH)SnI. [...]

This paper is devoted to investigate the application of different dynamic light structures generated by a self-calibrated Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) display for microparticle manipulation. Two major studies based on implementing different DOEs, to thoroughly characterize the LCoS display and to achieve optical-inspired particle manipulation, are proposed, respectively. [...]
