La relació entre població i medi ambient és un tema clàssic d'estudi de diverses ciències humanes i socials, com la demografia, la sociologia o la geografia. El present treball, derivat d'un estudi realitzat pel Centre d'Estudis Demogràfics per encàrrec del Departament de Presidència de la Generalitat de Catalunya, té precisament com objectiu realitzar un repàs bibliogràfic de la literatura històrica sobre la matèria per a identificar aquells temes que, amb major o menor freqüència, han estat teoritzats sobre les interrelacions entre població i medi ambient.
La relación entre población y medio ambiente es un tema clásico de estudio de varias ciencias humanas y sociales, como la demografía, la sociología o la geografía. El presente trabajo, derivado de un estudio realizado por el Centre d'Estudis Demogràfics por encargo del Departament de Presidència de la Generalitat de Catalunya, tiene precisamente como objetivo realizar un repaso bibliográfico de la literatura histórica sobre la materia para identificar aquellos temas que, con mayor o menor frecuencia, han sido teorizados sobre las interrelaciones entre población y medio ambiente.
The relation between population and environment is a classic topic of study of several human and social sciences, as the demography, the sociology or the geography. This work, derivative of a study realized for the Centre d'Estudis Demogràfics for order of the Departament de Presidència of the Generalitat de Catalunya, realize precisely a bibliographical revision of the historical literature on the matter to identify those topics that, with major or minor frequency, they have been theorized on the interrelationships between population and environment.
