In this essay, we investigate the Afro-descendant Peruvian poetry written by women, within the framework of the resistance to break with the literary canon. We propose a journey that goes from the experience of the poet and performer Victoria Santa Cruz (Me gritaron ¡negra!, 1960), and the crucial cultural alliance with her brother Nicomedes Santa Cruz, to the most recent feminist approaches of the poet and singer Mónica Carrillo Zegarra (Unícroma, 2007). [...] This paper analyses Candyman (Nía DaCosta, 2021) within the context of African American women's contributions to the translations of Derridean hospitality. To understand how this translation works, hospitality and hauntology will be brought together, with a special interest in one of its current reformulations: black hauntology. [...]

The European truffle beetle Leiodes cinnamomeus is the most important pest in black truffle (Tuber melanosporum) plantations. Current control methods against it are inefficient, so entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) could play an important role in their population regulation due to their efficacy against many soil-dwelling insect pests. Insect production offers a sustainable source of nutrients for livestock. This comes with a risk for transmission of pathogens from the insects into the livestock sector, including viruses causing serious diseases, such as African swine fever virus (ASFV), classical swine fever virus and foot-and-mouth disease virus.
