From its beginnings, the theory of narration has been a field of analysis favourable for studying the harmonies and differences which are posed between philosophy and literature. This paper questions in the first place whether there has anything like an «evolution» from primitive narrative forms to rational discourse and poetico-literary language, and also questions whether this so-called evolution of the mythos to the logos can be accounted for by a theory of narration.
