En aquest text s'analitzen algunes de les principals potencialitats i limitacions de les actuacions focalitzades i de les actuacions universalistes en l'àmbit de l'educació. Sovint, les polítiques orientades a la reducció de les desigualtats educatives tendeixen a situar-se prioritàriament en el terreny de les actuacions focalitzades per abordar aquelles realitats escolars que presenten uns dèficits més extrems. [...] This chapter aims to analyse some of the main potentials and limits of focussed and universal interventions within the education field. Policies aimed at reducing educational inequalities often tend to be basically situated in the area of focussed actions, affecting just those school realities facing the most extreme deficits. [...]
