Wolf presence in Catalonia has been confirmed since year 2000. From then, 14 different wolves have entered and leaved catalan territory, although none of them have established there permanently. The study analyses catalan territory using GIS, creating an habitat suitability model considering: the distance to the nearest road, the amount of available biomass, the altitude and the land cover type and percent covered.
