Electrical enabling motor control (eEmc) through transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation is a non-invasive method that can modify the functional state of the sensory-motor system. We hypothesize that eEmc delivery, together with hand training, improves hand function in healthy subjects more than either intervention alone by inducing plastic changes at spinal and cortical levels. Members of the plant specific RAV family of transcription factors regulate several developmental and physiological processes. In the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, the RAV TEMPRANILLO 1 (TEM1) and TEM2 control important phase changes such as the juvenile to adult and the vegetative to reproductive transitions. [...]

¿Y si no se descarta lo imposible? : Sherlock Holmes en el universo fantástico
/
Sánchez Zapatero, Javier (Universidad de Salamanca) ;
[...] Sherlock Holmes has become a character of universal dimensions capable of adapting to different contexts through different art forms. This relevance is manifested by means of the constant and transfictional transfer of the diegetic universe created by Conan Doyle to literature and other media like movies, comics, television or video games. The novel dendritic cell receptor Siglec-1 binds sialyllactose moieties on HIV-1 membrane gangliosides, thereby enhancing HIV-1 transinfection. Dendritic cells (DCs) are essential antigen-presenting cells for the induction of immunity against pathogens. [...]
