El presente artículo tiene por objeto realizar un estudio pormenorizado de los seis versos iniciales de la Soledad primera de Luis de Góngora. Tomando en cuenta las lecturas antiguas y modernas, expone la dificultad y riqueza semántica de su entramado metafórico y muestra las más transitables vías hermenéuticas con vistas a ponderar su elaborada alegoría mitológica y astrológica, sugiriendo así una exégesis integral de ese sutil y significativo pasaje de la poesía gongorina.
The main purpose of this paper is to make a detailed analysis of the six verses at the beginning of Luis de Góngora's first Soledad. Based on the ancient and modern readings, it exposes the difficulty and semantic richness of its metaphoric tissue and shows the most viable hermeneutical approaches in order to examine its complex mythological and astrological allegory, suggesting a whole exegesis for this subtle and significant passage of Góngora's poetry.
