Gracias a un proyecto del Ministerio, desde la Uvic, la UAB y la UPF estamos analizando la función de las lenguas y las variedades lingüísticas en las películas multilingües (L3). Los objetivos del estudio son: realizar un estudio descriptivo de la traducción de películas que contengan una tercera lengua; proporcionar datos para refinar y ampliar los modelos teóricos existentes sobre la traducción audiovisual e investigar estrategias específicas para doblaje y subtitulado; y crear una base de datos consultable sobre películas multilingües, como herramienta para investigadores, formadores, aprendices y traductores profesionales.
