Une approche intermédiale de l'oeuvre de Louis-René des Forêts, négligée jusqu'à présent, s'avère indispensable pour exploiter de nouvelles grilles de lecture permettant de mettre en relief la dimension esthétique de l'oeuvre littéraire par delà ses aspects sémantiques, linguistiques et philosophiques habituellement abordés par la critique littéraire. A new reading of the work of Louis-René des Forêts in the light of the author's activities in the domains of cinema, music and fine arts is attempted here. A transmedial approach that exploits new frames of reference, hitherto neglected to address the work of Louis-René des Forêts, is found to be necessary in order to highlight the aesthetic dimension of the literary work beyond itspurely semantic, linguistic and philosophical aspects usually stressed by literary critics.
