In order to eliminate the risk of potential disease spreading between people and wildlife, and to safeguard public health security of the society, as well as to maintain the ecological balance, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China passed the decision to abolish the bad habit of consuming wildlife mindlessly in February 2020, which stipulated the scope of the fasting, measures of punishment, scope of edible livestock and poultry, and the special conditions and approval measures of non-edible utilization of wild animals, etc. [...] Con el objetivo de eliminar el riesgo de una potencial propagación de enfermedades entre personas y fauna silvestre, y salvaguardar la seguridad de la salud pública de la sociedad, así como mantener el equilibrio ecológico, el Comité Permanente del Congreso Nacional del Pueblo de China aprobó, en febrero de 2020, la decisión de abolir el mal hábito de consumir fauna silvestre irresponsablemente, que establece el alcance de la prohibición, las sanciones, la importancia del ganado y las aves de corral comestibles, las condiciones especiales y las medidas de utilización no comestible de animales silvestres, etc. [...]

Biogeografía, ecología y conservación en la Neopangea : nuevos retos en Brasil

En este análisis se evidencian los impactos potenciales de la introducción de especies foráneas de aves y mamíferos utilizando algunos ejemplos del estado de São Paulo (sudeste de Brasil). Se da especial énfasis a la ausencia de estudios relacionados con diversas iniciativas de repoblación realizadas en Brasil en las últimas cinco décadas del siglo XX. En aquest treball es posen de manifest els impactes potencials de la introducció d'espècies foranes d'aus i mamífers utilitzant alguns exemples de l'estat de São Paulo (sud-est del Brasil). Es fa una especial incidència en la manca d'estudis relacionats amb diverses iniciatives de repoblació realitzades al Brasil en les darreres cinc dècades del segle XX. This paper shows the potential impacts caused by the introduction of alien species of both birds and mammals using some examples from the State of São Paulo (Southeastern Brazil). I focus on the lack of studies related to several rewilding initiatives promoted in Brazil during the last five decades of the 20th century.
