The GH (growth hormone) cDNA sequence of the marine silverside fish Odontesthes argentinensis was obtained using the RACE protocol (Rapid Amplification of cDNA Ends). The marine silverside GH cDNA sequence is 928 nucleotides long and was found to encode a polypeptide of 204 amino acids, including a signal peptide of 17 amino acids. [...]

At the end of a rush lasting over half a century, in which CMOS technology has been experiencing a constant and breathtaking increase of device speed and density, Moore's law is approaching the insurmountable barrier given by the ultimate atomic nature of matter. [...]

In spite of the resistance of French classical geography to politics, the field has been gradually explored by Anglo-Saxons, whose works minimized, for some time, internal conflicts of the state. Today, one must push fonvard and clearly distinguish between geography of sthe political, which deals with the manner whereby internal social forces attempt to obtain consensus and legitimacy from the citizens, and geopolitics, which treats of conflict between states, almost always with military logics, for territorial rule.
