Los martirios de cristianos en Japón en 1597 fueron objeto de una abundante literatura hagiográfica en los siguientes años, de la que se estudia uno de los primeros relatos impresos, el que realizara el franciscano Juan de Santa María en 1599. The Christians' martyrdoms in Japan in 1597 were an object of abundant hagiographical literature in the following years, of which there is studied one of the first printed story, realized by the Franciscan Juan of Santa Maria in 1599.
