Exposure to greenspace has been associated with mental health benefits in children; however, the available evidence for such an association with anxiety is still scarce. This longitudinal study aimed to evaluate that association on a community cohort of 539 children, from Barcelona province, followed from 3 to 11 years. [...]

Introduction: Forests play a crucial role in the lives of millions of people worldwide by providing material and non-material contributions. Despite forests' paramount importance from ecological, economic, and cultural perspectives, the long-term relationship between forests and local communities living in their proximity is often an undervalued contribution to our understanding of local ecological knowledge systems and forest changes. /
Zarco Hernández, Fernando (Universidad de Guanajuato) ;
Pujol i Tarrés, Joan (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)
An analysis on the corporeal nature as a geopolitical territory and privacy among men in the African continent. It is based in the report about State-sponsored homophobia of the International Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Rights (ilga), this subject is considered from an Africanist perspective, in order to question contemporary colonialism, which penetrates the international struggle for sexual rights.

The ongoing degradation of natural systems and other environmental changes has put our society at a crossroad with respect to our future relationship with our planet. While the concept of One Health describes how human health is inextricably linked with environmental health, many of these complex interdependencies are still not well-understood. [...]
