En este trabajo nos proponemos analizar la historia de los términos latinos que designan la ictericia (icteritia) desde la Antigüedad hasta el Renacimiento. Asimismo, estudiamos la errónea atribución, en el siglo XVI, del término aurigo al enciclopedista latino Cornelio Celso.
The purpose of this work is to analyze the history of the Latin terms for jaundice (ictericia) from the Antiquity to the Renaissance. We also study the erroneous attribution of the term aurigo to the Latin encyclopedist Cornelius Celsus in the XVIth Century.
