Fraseología del cuerpo humano en el español : la relación entre la semántica cognitiva y las paremias sobre la cabeza

El contenido del presente artículo consiste en reunir diferentes unidades fraseológicas relacionadas con la parte superior del cuerpo humano, las cuales han sido obtenidas del Refranero multilingüe del Centro Virtual Cervantes y del Diccionario de refranes comentado de Regino Etxabe, con el propósito de estudiar su origen, su interpretación semántica y el grado de idiomaticidad, así como los mecanismos cognitivos empleados para su formación -la metonimia, la metáfora y la metaftonimia, principalmente- y sus posibles variantes. [...] The content of this paper consists of bringing together different phraseological units related to the upper part of the human body, which have been obtained from the Refranero multilingüe of the Centro Virtual Cervantes and the Diccionario de refranes comentado of Regino Etxabe, with the purpose of studying their origin, their semantic interpretation and the degree of idiomaticity, as well as the cognitive mechanisms used for their formation -metonymy, metaphor and metaphtonymy, mainly-and their possible variants. Designaciones populares de nubes que cubren montañas en refranes meteorológicos romances, con sus paremiotipos

Se ofrece un estudio sobre designaciones populares de nubes que cubren montañas y de los tipos parémicos (o paremiotipos) correspondientes en el ámbito romance. La estructura de tales refranes meteorológicos, en general bimembre, aloja en su primera parte las denominaciones específicas de ese tipo de nubes, que en general responden a metáforas referidas a la cabeza o el cuerpo humanos (predominan los representantes de la familia léxica del latín cappa y derivados). [...] This article is a study of popular names for clouds that shroud mountains and the associated proverb types in the Romance languages. Such meteorological proverbs, which are generally bipartite, contain in the first part the specific names for the clouds, these tending to be based on metaphors referring to the human head or body (largely derived from latin CAPPA and its derivatives). Acerca del concepto metalingüístico de fraseología en árabe

A pesar de que el término "fraseología", prácticamente no existe en la lingüística árabe, el concepto tampoco está ausente, puesto que los antiguos lingüistas árabes fueron pioneros en este campo. [...] Although the term "phraseology" practically does not not exist in Arabic linguistics, the concept is not absent too, since ancient Arab linguists were pioneers in this field. Thanks to their collections of proverbs from the 8th century AD, many linguistic phenomena came to light, that would be called nowadays "collocation", "idiom", "paroemia", etc. [...]

Aquest text, que ha deixat una empremta important en l'imaginari de la societat nord-americana, conté més de cent aforismes que insten al treball honrat, a l'estalvi i a la frugalitat com a vies segures per accedir a la fortuna econòmica.
