In this paper the authoress makes an iconographical and stylistic approach to the tympanum of the west doorway of Sant Pol church at Sant Joan de les Abedesses (Girona). As the subject of this tympanum is the "Traditio Legis", reference is made to the evolution of this iconographic subject, and to the iconographical and iconological differences that we can see between the "Traditio Legis" of Early Christian and Romanesque art.
