Abstract:	Frente al cambio ambiental global, las ciencias sociales aplicadas afrontan el desafío de mejorar y aumentar la comprensión del problema y así contribuir a generar acciones efectivas. Desde la dimensión contextual, epistemológica, teórica y ética del concepto de intervención social, este artículo plantea propuestas teóricas que nutran los procesos reflexivos a la hora de diseñar y ejecutar intervenciones sociales relacionadas con problemáticas socioambientales. Se presenta una variedad de teorías de diversas áreas de las ciencias, que apuntan a la construcción de nuevas racionalidades ambientales, para facilitar el desarrollo de interacciones más sustentables entre la sociedad y la naturaleza.
Abstract:	Faced with global environmental change, the applied social sciences face the challenge of improving and increasing the understanding of the problem and thus contributing to effective actions. From the contextual, epistemological, theoretical and ethical dimension of the concept of social intervention, this article proposes theoretical proposals that nurture the reflective processes when designing and executing social interventions that relate to socio-environmental problems. It presents a variety of theories from different areas of science, which point to the construction of new environmental rationalities to facilitate the development of more sustainable interactions between society and nature.
