planning cycle and describes the evolution of the Union’s planning and C2
capability. The second chapter proceeds to assess the planning and C2
performance of three military operations; EUFOR Althea in Bosnia
and Herzegovina, EUFOR DRC in the Democratic Republic of Congo and EUFOR
Tchad/RCA in Chad and the Central African Republic. The third and last
chapter presents the study’s conclusions and offers practical policy
recommendations aimed at improving the Union’s planning and conduct
capability

Reduction of Employment Protection in
Europe: A Comparative Fuzzy-Set Analysis (Wolfgang

Since the middle of the 1980s many European countries have
reduced the strictness of their employment protection mainly by relaxing it
for temporary jobs. These countries are Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece,
Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. The article explores the
conditions of the reduction of employment protection and takes a closer look
at the combination of causal factors. It uses fuzzy-set qualitative
comparative analysis (fuzzy-set QCA)
