Scholarships available for PhD and graduate students!

The conference on "Latest Advances on Nanomaterials for Biomedical Applications" (NANOBIOAPP2015) will be held in Barcelona (Spain) on the 21st-23rd September 2015. The scope of the conference is to bring together experts in the field of nanomedicine, in the broad sense, to discuss the latest advances in the areas of biomedical imaging, therapy, monitoring, tissue repair and engineering, scaffolds, cellular growth, biosensors, and radiopharmaceuticals amongst others.

Specific sessions will be devoted to the design and application of carbon nanomaterials (graphene, carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, nanodiamonds, C-dots, etc.), inorganic (nanoparticles, quantum dots, radiometals, MOFs, chelates, layered structures, nanowires, etc.) nanomaterials and organic (lipids, liposomes, nanovesicles, nanoemulsions, etc.) nanomaterials. Additionally a specific session will be devoted to characterization at all stages of development, from the synthesis to the in-vivo application.

Since graphene has recently emerged as a promissing material for biomedical applications, a special lecture will be devoted to learn from recent advances, perspectives and opportunites within the Graphene Flagship, and we will count with the presence of the Work Package leaders of “Health and Environment”. Finally, a satellite workshop will be devoted to the FP7 project RADDEL, “Nanocapsules for Targeted Delivery of Radioactivity”.

Keynote and invited speakers are top worldwide leading scientists. Their expertise ranges from the synthesis and characterization of the nanomaterials up to their in-vivo application.

There are several scholarships available for PhD and undergraduate students to cover the registration fee. If you are interested in applying to one of them please send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots.
