WELCOME

The 6th international Ra-Rn workshop will take place in the city of Girona (Catalonia, Spain) in July 18th-21st 2016 at the Faculty of Arts of the Universitat de Girona. 

The objective of this workshop is to provide a forum for presentations and open discussions regarding the latest developments and new directions in the application and measurement of Rn and Ra isotopes as environmental tracers. We will schedule a minimum of formal presentations (invited keynote talks and contributed talks), and leave maximum time for discussion (session discussions, working groups, poster sessions).


  • Dates: 18th – 21st July, 2016 (3 days workshop + 1 day field trip). An icebreaker (Sunday, July 17th) and a canyoning day trip to the Pyrenees (Friday, July 22th) are also planned.

    • Location: Girona is a charm city easy to reach by plane, train, bus and car, and hotels, restaurants, shops and touristic attractions are within easy walking distance from the workshop location.

    • Registration: The capacity of the workshop is limited to 80 participants. PhD students and postdoctoral fellows are especially welcome. Time will be devoted to generate interaction between young and experienced scientists. Details on registration are provided in the "Registration" window.
