O ponto de ruptura entre Tomás de Aquino e Vicente Ferrer, ou a possibilidade de conhecer o final dos tempos

Resumen:	Este artigo compara as teses de Tomás de Aquino e Vicente Ferrer sobre a possibilidade de conhecer o final dos tempos pela revelação bíblica. Durante tempos Vicente Ferrer seguiu as ideias do Doutor Comum, porém, entre os anos 1408 e 1412, desvinculou-se das mesmas. A análise dos sermões e uma carta de Vicente Ferrer escritos entre estes anos permitem constatar a sua evolução. Vicente Ferrer passa da negativa categórica (tomista) para afirmar a possibilidade, necessidade e conveniência de conhecer o final dos tempos. O ponto de ruptura entre ambos autores se produz em sua exegese dos Atos dos Apóstolos 1,7.
Resumen:	This paper compares the theses of Thomas Aquinas and Vincent Ferrer concerning the possibility of knowing the end times as revealed in the Bible. For years Vincent Ferrer followed the ideas of the Common Doctor of the Church, but between 1408 and 1412 he changed his position. The analysis of two sermons and one letter written by Vincent Ferrer between the aforementioned years allows us to observe his evolution. Vincent Ferrer abandoned the categorical refusal of Thomism for an assertion of the possibility, necessity and desirability of knowing these end times. The breakpoint between both authors occurs in their exegesis of Acts 1,7.
