La siguiente tesis de maestría, presenta una investigación sobre las políticas públicas de control en la población canina en la Ciudad de México. Se analizará sobre la situación actual de la Ciudad de México, así como de la evolución de la convivencia humano - perro, a través del tiempo. Se estudiarán a fondo las diferentes campañas con las que se cuenta en la Ciudad sobre cuidado animal, regidas por las Secretaría de Salud del Distrito Federal. Se analizará la Ley De Protección A Los Animales Del Distrito Federal, como la base para los diferentes programas con los que se cuenta en la capital del país, así como sus reformas. Inmediatamente después, se explorará a fondo sobre La Brigada de Vigilancia Animal, la primera policía encargada cien por ciento al bienestar de los animales, estudiando su protocolo, del cual, está encargado la Secretaría De Seguridad Pública De La Ciudad De México, apoyándose también de la Ley De Protección A Los Animales Del Distrito Federal. Para así, poder llegar al tema de tenencia responsable y la iniciativa que se quiere para poder implementarla en la ciudad. Todo esto con el fin de saber si las políticas públicas en la Ciudad de México son las adecuadas para la solución al control de la población canina. |

This master's thesis presents an investigation on the public policy of canine control population in Mexico City. We will investigate the current situation of Mexico City, as well as the evolution of human - dog coexistence along history. The different campaigns on animal care in the city, governed by the Health Department of the Federal District will be studied in depth. The Federal District's Animal Protection Law will also be analyzed, as the basis for the different programs which the capital of the country count with as well as its reforms. Afterwards, the Animal Vigilance Brigade, the first police responsible for the welfare of the animals, will be explored, studying its protocol, which is commissioned by Mexico City's Public Security Secretary based on the Law of Protection to The Animals Of The Federal District, in order to reach the issue of responsible tenure and the initiative to be implemented in the city. All this in order to know if the public policies in Mexico City are adequate for the solution to the control in the canine population. |
