El Juzgado de Instrucción nº 2 de Mula (Murcia) resuelve de forma positiva unas medidas cautelares urgentes respecto a las propiedades, actividades y la persona de un padre y un hijo, al apreciar por parte de ambos indicios de un presunto delito de maltrato animal, así como un presunto delito de quebrantamiento de condena por parte del hijo, previa denuncia (querella) y petición de medida cautelar. Los denunciados alimentaban a los animales con desechos de patatas fritas que obtenían de una fábrica. La autora del comentario, abogada de la acusación popular, destaca los aspectos más relevantes de dicha medida cautelar: decomiso de 160 animales; cierre de cuatro instalaciones; nombramiento de dos protectoras como depositarios judiciales; autorización y entrega de las llaves de una de las instalaciones a una asociación para cuidar temporalmente a 53 ovejas y cabras; retirada de armas; y suspensión de las actividades de cría, compraventa y tenencia de animales. |

District Court no. 2 of Mula (Murcia) resolved in favor of urgent precautionary measures with regards to the properties, activities and the person of a father and son, upon receiving information of a presumed crime of animal abuse by both persons, and a presumed case of violating the sentence by the son, according to a report (lawsuit) and petition for precautionary measures by two Animal Protector Associations. The accused fed animals with waste from fried potatoes which they obtained from a manufacturer. The author of the commentary, an attorney for the popular accusation in this proceeding, highlights the most relevant aspects of this precautionary measure: confiscation of 160 animals; closing of four installations; naming the protectors as the legal guardians; temporary authorization and handover of the keys of one of them to a protector to care for the livestock (53 sheeps and goats); removal of arms. And, specifically, the suspension of breeding, purchasing and selling activities and ownership of animals. |
