Abstract:	Photo albums are put together by women. But the matter of women does not end there: the album is also recounted from the position of a live, female voice. The album may appear to be a succession of many spaces through which the family has moved, even prior to its inception of that family, the reality, the deepest "truth" of the album is that it is the passing of time. It serves to take the exterior (first comunions, wedding, outings, parties), to the limits of the house, but doubtless to dematerialize that exterior as space and to turn experience into a temporal installation, since the photograph appears as from somewhere else, without place. Or, rather, the place it evokes is an imaged one: the phantoms of the family as an archive.
Abstract:	Las fotos de los álbumes son colocadas por la mujer. Pero esta materia femenina no termina acá, pues los álbumes son contados de viva voz por ellas. El álbum puede aparecer como una sucesión de muchos espacios por donde se ha movido la familia desde incluso antes del nacimiento de la misma, pero su realidad más profunda es el paso del tiempo. Es la manera de traer el exterior (la boda, la primera comunión o las fiestas) a los límites de la casa, pero sin duda para desmaterializarla como espacio y hacer de la experiencia más bien una instalación temporal, pues la foto aparece como de otra parte, sin lugar. O más bien construye un lugar, pero imaginado: los fantasmas de la familia como archivo.
