Idolatria nos rituais da igreja universal do reino de deus

Abstract:	Um dos fenômenos mais recentes e interessantes no campo religioso da cotidianidade brasileira tem sido o vertiginoso avanço da onda neopentecostal e em especial de sua igreja mais representativa: a IURD. Nosso objetivo neste artigo é revelar o caráter idolátrico dos cultos desta Igreja, destacando alguns de seus principais mecanismos semióticos de inversão em relação à teologia tradicional.
Abstract:	Some of the most recent and interesting phenomenon in the religious field of the Brazilian everyday life has been the vertiginous growing of the neopentecostal wave and in special of its most representative church: the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus. Our aim in this article is to reveal the idolatrous character of the cults of this church, stressing some of its main semiotic mechanisms of inversion in relation to the traditional theology.
