El ritual como sintagmática del sentido

Abstract: |
Victor Turner's proposals on liminality are the starting points in analyzing the ritual process of the Cora and Huichol people in the western mountains of Mexico. There is a special concern in looking at the deconstructing procedures, which allow the ritual actors to merge themselves into a state of feeling or pure tension. The paper is discussing play and celerity as such procedures that are dissolving the categories of the signified world and are carrying away the ritual actors to emptiness of ego. The theoretical grounds of discussion are the semiotic suggestions of Algirdas Greimas, Jacques Fontanille and Claude Zilberberg. |
