Abstract:	Este artículo se ocupa de la teoría del lenguaje en la filosofía de Condillac y describe la evolución en la concepción del signo lingüístico, de la teoría del signo arbitrario en el Essai sur l'origine des connaissances humaines (1746) a la teoría del signo artificial en la Grammaire (1775). El objetivo es demostrar cómo el rechazo de la arbitrariedad del signo está ligado a una nueva concepción del progreso natural del lenguaje y el conocimiento, desarrollado en la Grammaire, y la batalla que Condillac emprende contra el abuso del lenguaje, principal enemigo del desarrollo del conocimiento seguro y la ciencia exacta.
Abstract:	This article studies the theory of language in Condillac's philosophy. It describes the evolution in the theory of linguistic sign, from the concept of arbitrary sign in the Essai sur l'origine des connaissances humaines (1746) to the concept of artifcial sign in the Grammaire (1775). It aims at demonstrating how the reject of the concept of arbitrary sign is related to a new theory of natural progress of language and knowledge in the Grammaire and to Condillac's fight against the abuse of language as the main enemy of the develop of right knowledge and right sciences.
