Resumen:	Despite the many advances in recent years in the study ofthe Reformation in Spain, there is still a great deal ofresearch to be done. We need more precise information about the theological and social profiles of individuals and groups accused of Protestant beliefs; there undoubtedly is more to discover about the communication networks between those Spaniards accused of Protestantism and the wider European and American world. Only in this way will it be possible to adequately assess the circulation ofideas, books, and people, and gauge the potential impact that these networks could have had on the political and intellectual debates of their time.
