Essays on Hip Surgery - 2 by Alexander Kosiakov is the revised and expanded second edition of a bilingual Russian-English volume devoted to hip surgery and total hip arthroplasty. Drawing on extensive clinical experience, the author addresses both fundamental principles and challenging practical situations, including surgical approaches and preoperative planning, prosthetic component placement, dislocations and periprosthetic fractures, bone defects, septic and thrombotic complications, revision arthroplasty, and other complex aspects of contemporary hip surgery.
