Després d'una reflexió entorn el lloc dels animals en ontologies tan diferents com la occidental medieval i l'ameríndia, i d'una reflexió sobre la importància del llenguatge i d'altres formes de comunicació i de representació d'aquestes visions de món particularment en aquelles darreres - com ens mostren els corpus mítics, les pintures i altres treballs corporals, o les representacions gràfiques d'aquesta relació en suports materials com la ceràmica -, el text planteja la importància de considerar el lloc que ocupa l'ésser humà en els sistemes de classificació en relació a l'animalitat i particularment el llenguatge en les seves diverses manifestacions com a mitjà per excel·lència per a observar la relació, contínua o discontínua, entre humans i no humans.
This article begins with a series of reflections on the place accorded to animals in such diverse ontologies as those of medieval Europe and the indigenous societies of the Americas. It shows the importance of language and other forms of communication and representation, particularly in Amerindian cosmologies, in myths, body paintings, bodily adornment, and other graphic representations of humans and non-humans. The Communication between Substances and the Unity of the Human Being in Petrus Hispanus' Commentary on the De anima / López Alcalde, Celia (Universidade do Porto)
This paper aims to describe the development of the doctrine of the plurality of substantial forms in the Sententia cum questionibus in libros I, II de anima Aristotelis, attributed to Petrus Hispanus, and to emphasize the importance of the concept of "communication", which is used by this and other authors of the 13th century.
Este artículo pretende mostrar el desarrollo de la doctrina de la pluralidad de formas sustanciales en la Sententia cum questionibus in libros I, II de anima Aristotelis, atribuida a Pedro Hispano, y enfatizar la importancia del concepto de "comunicación", que fue utilizado por éste y otros autores del siglo XIII.

Das Scheitern der Kommunikation als Ursprung einer Tragödie - Beobachtungen zur Inkompatibilität von 'männlicher'und 'weiblicher' Rationalität in Max Frischs Roman Homo faber / Springer, Bernd F. W. (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)
In seinen Romanen Stiller und Homo faber thematisiert Max Frisch das schwierige Verhältnis der Geschlechter. In Homo faber liegt die Ursache in verschiedenen Rationalitätsformen von Mann und Frau, die zu Kommunikationsproblemen führen, die ihrerseits am Anfang der Tragödie stehen.
The subject of Max Frisch's novels Stiller and Homo Faber is the difficult relationship between the genders. In Homo faber the reasons can be found in the different forms of rationality of man and woman that lead to problems of communication, which build the origin of the tragic story.
Max Frisch trata en sus novelas Stiller y Homo faber el tema de la difícil relación entre los sexos. En Homo faber, las diferentes formas de racionalidad del hombre y de la mujer causan problemas de comunicación, los cuales, por su parte, son el origen de la tragedia.
