Introduction: Maternal immunization is aimed at reducing morbidity and mortality in pregnant women and their newborns. Updated evidence synthesis of maternal-fetal outcomes is constantly needed to ensure that the risk-benefit of vaccination during pregnancy remains positive. [...]

13 p, 3.1 MB Electrochemical characterization of GaN surface states / Winnerl, Andrea (Technische Universität München. Physik Department) ; Garrido, Jose (Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia) ; Stutzmann, Martin (Walter Schottky Institut)
In this work, we present a systematic study of the electrochemical properties of metal-organic chemical vapor deposition and hybrid vapor phase epitaxy grown n-type GaN in aqueous electrolytes. For this purpose, we perform cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy measurements over a wide range of potentials and frequencies, using a pure aqueous electrolyte and adding two different types of redox couples, as well as applying different surface treatments to the GaN electrodes. [...]

We present a systematic study of electrochemically active surface states on MOCVD-grown n-typeGaN in aqueous electrolytes using cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy over a widerange of potentials and frequencies. [...]

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neuro-developmental disorder that starts in childhood and has a persistent pattern of behaviour involving lack of attention and/or hyperactivity-impulsiveness that interferes in social, academic or work processes, or reduces the quality of them. Departamento de Química Inorgánica) ; Schmidt, Oliver G. (Institut für Integrative Nanowissenschaften. IFW Dresden)
The development of artificial micromotors is one of the greatest challenges of modern nanotechnology. Even though many kinds of motors have been published in recent times, systematic studies on the influence of components of the fuel solution are widely missing. [...]

(Universitat de València)
The evaluation of the methodological quality of primary studies in a systematic review is a key process to enhance the likelihood of achieving valid results. When considering non-randomized designs as cohort studies, this process becomes even more critical, since these designs are more susceptible to bias than randomized controlled trials are. [...]

There is no clear candidate tool for assessing the methodological quality of ex post facto studies in systematic reviews and meta-analyses yet. Our purpose is to thoroughly analyze the psychometric properties of the three most comprehensive assessment tools of this kind published up to 2010. [...]
